Just got an injection is this a reaction?

i just had my second injection to help prevent cervical cancer i have no rash or inflamation but iv got a sore lower abdomen.....could it be a reaction to it??

Would have thought that whoever gave the injection would have mentioned the prospect of any side effects. If your not happy about the pain consult your GP or whoever did the injection.

Without knowing what injection they have used, the best way to find out is by actually asking the doctor or nurse who gave you the injection.

What are the possible side effects of GARDASIL?
As with all vaccines, there may be some side effects with GARDASIL. GARDASIL has been shown to be
generally well tolerated in women and girls as young as 9 years of age.
The most commonly reported side effects included:
鈥?pain, swelling, itching, and redness at the injection site.
鈥?fever.
鈥?nausea.
鈥?dizziness.
鈥?vomiting.
鈥?fainting.
Fainting can occur after vaccination, most commonly among adolescents and young adults. Although
fainting episodes are uncommon, patients should be observed for 15 minutes after they receive HPV
vaccine.
Allergic reactions that may include difficulty breathing, wheezing (bronchospasm), hives, and rash have
been reported. Some of these reactions have been severe.
As with other vaccines, side effects that have been reported during general use include: swollen glands
(neck, armpit, or groin), Guillain-Barr茅 syndrome, and headache.
If you or your child has any unusual or severe symptoms after receiving GARDASIL, contact your health
care professional right away.

If you are worried about the discomfort & some anti-infammatories (providing you can take them) don't relieve it then you should contact your GP.

If you are likeley to have a reaction it will be after the second dose. It could be a reaction, get some advice from you GP just to put your mind at rest if nothing else.

the gardasil shot ? i got my second one too there should be no abdominal pain from it just swelling or bruisisng around the injection shot. well there could be abdominal pain there arent really any complaints about it or thouhgt to happen after the shot.
