Need some help with IV information?

So I am needing some help here, I have an IV cert. this evening and the information given to me isn't thourough enough for me to answer these questions. So I am hoping someone here can help.

1.How often should you check and reassess an IV site?

2. How long can you leave an IV in one place?

3. What are the 6 rights?

4. How long does it take for an IV medication to reach the heart?

5. What ist he average size IV needle and how long should the tourniquet be left on?

I can tell you that you should check an IV site every cahnce you get. Depends on your hospital or organizations protocol. We change them about every three days. Takes about 3-5 minutes to reach the heart and who know about any rights let alone six.
