Am i depressed? |
i was diagnosed with OCD a few weeks ago, and i was put on zoloft. im on 1 pill a day currently and in 3 days i start 1 and a half. iv been EXTREMELY tired everyday scince before i was put on the medicine. i refuse to eat because i think im fat (i weigh 127, am 5'7" and 15), i sleep pretty much all day sept at school or when im out with friends wich is rarely, i cut (wrists, legs, body), and i dont really socialize at school. i live in a moderatly rich house, just saying i dont have all that of a crappy life. im also really paranoid about everything. I've got the same problem as you but i'm 14 and weigh some more. I was taken to a phsychiatrist and had to take test and i was proven with severe depression. Which is basically like suicidal watch, and my guess is that you are, it will be hard, and you'll end up wanting help like me right now. and telling your parents might be hard to, i'm struggling with that, but just take it at your own pace. if you have any questions email me at It sounds like you should be open with your doctor and express your concerns. I think it sounds like your depressed, talk to your parents i think slightly you are, go see a counsler so you cannot hurt yourself, and try making some friends, so you wil have something to looks forward too....i have ocd too, but it isnt severe, for weird reasons which i will not say...but anyways, being rich doesnt make you happy in anthing it makes you depressed because money cannot buy you real friends or any real feelings, talk to some one cuz chances are if you dont then things will jsut get worse and dont worry u are not ft...ur skinny Mr! so go eat get well soon =] p.s paranoia comes with being unstable/depressed Being a teenager is hard, and you have lots of hormones changing and going kinda nuts right now. Sounds like a cheezy excuse, but trust me. My teen years were my worst, even though I actually had it pretty good, looking back. yes your are depressed but the best thing is talk with someone you trust (it could be a friend) and explain to them what's bothering you! |
