I'm doin psychotherapy.Im moody+withdrawn after session.Iv a husband+kids how can I stop it effecting them?

I'm a 30yr old mother of 4 my husband runs his own business and life is stressful. He's saying he cant cope with me doing therapy and has threatened to leave but I cant give up my therapy now I've come this far.

You need to talk with him and get specific things he thinks will help. If you are depressed and not cleaning house - maybe some help a couple days a week would work. If you come home really bitchy - then maybe you need a buffer time between the therapy session and going home- maybe go to a coffee shop and relax for half an hour then you can go home calm and relaxed.

Work with him to improve - try not to get defensive with him. He has rights too. You have the right to therapy but he has a right to a nice home, good meal and happy kids.

You are right you should not have to give up therapy if it is helping you.

do you work?...or are you supported by your husband?

i think your number 1 priority is to your family and children...not you weird psychotherapy babble

do whats best for them..
