Nurses, please help me!? |
What are at least 2 indications for using the Y site for administration of IV medications? I need to know for my IV therapy class. This is an odd question because in general I always use the Y site for IV med administration. I guess the exception would be on those medications which must be run directly from their container into the vein. Maybe what they are looking for is IV push and IV piggyback? |
