How do you get an insurance company to pay for long term IV therapy for Lyme disease?

How do you get an insurance company to pay for long term IV therapy for Lyme disease?

If this is new insurance, they probably consider Lyme Disease a preexisitng condition. I have the pleasure (sarcasm) of having a preexisting myself.

Generally, if you do not have to receive treatment for a year, they will begin covering treatments for the disease. Talk to someone at your insurance company to find out what they coverage limitations are.

Insurance through employers almost always covers preexisting wihtout the year wait period.

good luck. I hope you find a way to fund your treatment,

you don't. they don't have to cover anything that isn't part of the terms.
