Ok. I have had plantar fasciatis for 5 months now and im sick of it,iv done othodics and massage therapy, pills

and stretching. i read up that u should lose wight so now im eating very little and going swimming. But im not fat im 5'9'AND A HALF AND 153 PONDS THE HEAVISEST IV EVER BEEN . i WAS 137 POUNDS BEFORE. Question is How much weight do i need to lose to take the weight off my feet to cure the plantar fasciatis????Im at my wits end here and everyone tells my im not fat but i cant think of anything else to do to get better. Thanks. Sorry if u dont like the question.

sticking with Physical Therapy is the answer, by research, steroid injections and high dose NSAID's are not really helpful but they are worth a try if not done so far. In essence for such situations when weight loss is recommended 15-20 pounds max is what your physician or therapist would be thinking of, hopefully, feel free to email me with any questions
