I have blood in my urine (Man)?

I went to the DR with pain in my testicle. He said I had a medium amount of blood in my urine so he ran an IVP. All is normal with my kidneys and ureters. There is no infection in my urine. I still have pain in my testicle and have to push hard to urinate though it does not hurt. I am in my mid 40s. Does any one know what this could be?

Blood in the urine may have many sources. Kidney, bladder, prostate, or the testicle itself or it's surrounding structures (epididymis). If you feel pain in your testicle, you need to have a scrotal ultrasound and with difficulty urinating your prostate needs to be examined. Do a testicular self exam on yourself and feel for abnormality. Sometimes, cysts will rupture and cause blood in the urine and they can also cause pain. However, testicular cancer can have similar symptoms--although you are not in the usual age group for testicular cancer. Regardless, make an appointment with a urologist and get this sorted out.

Well i once read in this book about masturbation, that when a man urines blood it could be signs of infertile..Maybe your masturbating too much,or if you dont it could be that..Go to your docter and ask him if it could be that, ask him to check your sperm count too see if everythings ok,if its not that, than i dont know what it could be..

go back to the doctor, or find another one. No decent doctor would send you home with the same concerning symptoms just because he didn't find anything wrong with the first tests!!

i would defanitly go get a 2nd opinion.

good luck

go to a new Dr. this doesnt sound right for sure
