Kidney question? |
I went for an utrasound scan last week, and it was discovered that my right kidney is not functioning at all. The scan was for my womb, but because I had drunk a considerable amount of fluid in order for my bladder to fill up, and my bladder was completely empty after three hours, the radiographer decided to check out my kidneys. I have to undergo an IVP, but has anyone experienced the same, suddenly finding out that one of your kidney's isn't working. Can you tell me your story, and what was done about it. I don't have a story but I'm very sad .Don't worry dear ! I've experienced God's healing power .So I know for sure GOD WILL HEAL YOU ! I know your Faith & Trust in God. Expect miracles ! Shall uphold you in my prayers. OK? Hi Heir ! I was having rountine ultrasound and kidney scan as well when I found out. It took my doctors months before they figured out what it was. I had scar tissue on my ureter which was closing the ureter and making the urine stay in the kidney. Finally after about a year of tests and other procedures surgery was done and 3 days ago was my one year anniversary of the surgery and everything is good. They can't know for sure that your kidney isn't completely working until the IVP or a kidney scan is done. My function had dropped down to 32% and as of 6 months after surgery it was back up to 36%. If you have any more questions you can email me. Can't say that I've experienced this, myself; but my recent experience was scary enough - in checking all my systems prior to total shoulder replacement surgery, the Cardiac Stress Test showed I had potentially blocked coronary arteries. I had to undergo cardiac catherization, which showed blockage of 20 - 60%. This was not enough to preclude my shoulder surgery; but I have to take medicine for the blockage. ...prayers for you, luv...as our steps are choosen by Him, so to are our bodies in His hands... |
