Recurrent Abdominal Pain?

For quite a long time, I have had this persistent abdominal pain in the upper and lower quadrants of my left abdomen. Sometimes the pain radiates into my back, the entire left side. Sometimes it goes down to my groin. I have had an abdominal ultrasound which came back normal except for some extra blood in my cul de sac. My doctor doesn't think that there's anything seriously wrong with me because my blood came back good and I've done a fecal occult test and a digital rectal exam which came back normal. I am scheduled to do an IVP early next year. I don't think my problem is reproductive as my organs were normal on the ultrasound and the pain is always there, not just during my period. Sometimes its really bad but for the most part it is a dull, throbbing ache. I have no idea what it is and it is worrying me... anyone have any insights

I recently have had stomach pains from right to left in the abdominal. I have had a ENDOSCOPY and was diagnosed with Gastritis. Some subsequent test also confirmed I have Celiac Spruce disease. I have been told that this disease is often not detected and I suggest you talk to your doctor about these two areas. Best of luck and hope the answer is found soon for you.

sounds like what I have "endometriosis" the ONLY way to detect endo is through a laproscopy.Endo pain can happen all month long usually worsens through menstration.Ultrasounds do not detect endo!!!please type endometriosis in any search engine and you will find all you need to know....I do hope it's not endo..take care&good luck!

I will offer two suggestions. First you may have a hernia something to think about. There does not have to be a buldge and hernias can present themselves with strange pains. I also hope that when they drew blood they also tested for ovarian cancer by a CA-125 test.
