If I am allergic to IVP dye, i.e. iodine, can I take the medicine Wellbutrin?

I am no doctor or pharmacist, but I don't think an allergy to omnipaque (ivp dye) has anything to do with Wellbutrin.

I looked up the chemical structure of Wellbutrin, and it doesn't include iodine. This allergy isn't listed as a contraindication, either.

This medication does, however, tend to make people very irritable. You might ask your doctor why he/she thinks this is the best choice. It also lowers the seizure threshold.
