Is there an organization that you can donate used medical equipment to?

I have small medical devices, like a brace, leg stabilizer, things of that nature and I know there is an organization that would except them and recondition them for people in other countries to use. Countries that don't have as good medical as the states. I hate to throw them out if someone else can benefit from them.

May be ask the red cross? They should at least be able to redirect you.

Is there a healthcare school near you?

I have worked in healthcare education for over 20 years, and many of our practice equipment (wheelchairs, crutches, even hospital beds!) have been donated as outdated medical equipment by individuals or healthcare agencies.
