Is the "Rife Frequency Instrument" effective, or is it a "quack" medical device? |
The woman I used to work for had breast cancer, but claimed she cured it with a "Rife frequency device." Dr. Rife was a German scientist who claimed that all cancers were caused by a bacteria called "BX," and that he could both create and destroy cancer in laboratory conditions. There was some kind of trial in California in the 1930's, and he supposedly used both sound and ultraviolet light to cure 33 patients. None of their cancers recurred. Is any of that true, or is this just another "urban legend?" No scientific proof exists that Rifes machine ever worked. There are now plenty of really fake machines around that make the same claim and the identical non-results. As for the woman that you work for . . unless she was in a Clinical Trial or can provide documentation that conclusively shows that the Rife machine worked . . her claim seems suspicious. But many people can honestly believe that something has worked . . the problem is always replicating and proving that it works on many, many other people. If a machine worked that cured cancer than everyone would use it . . and it would be easy to prove. Since it cannot be documented to be effective by simple Clinical Trial . . than what good is it. I personally have used the rife for strep throat, bursitis, neck & back pain, colds, high fever, & detox. It has never failed. I know a lady who had breast cancer & was told by doctors nothing could save her. The rife did. she is cancer free! Report It |
