Shelf Life of medical equipment?

Where would someone find the date that any certain medical item should be replaced? Seems like some agency in the Federal Government would maintain the records of specific medical items, as well the date they should no longer be used in the medical field.

The question isn't where to find the specified date when medical equiptment has gone beyond its shelf life. Seems like you need to research which Federal agency is responsible for maintaining those records, and from there you can determine which specific medical items and/or equiptment is outdated.

Maybe the Department of Health would maintain such records.
