Is oxygen considered Durable Medical Equipment? |
My husband needs supplemental oxygen for an illness. His insurance didn't cover that but mine may if it is considered Durable Medical Equipment. BCBS considers it DME there are machines that pump Oxygen into your system, they are called ozone generators, and there is a therapy as well. Generally, because of our government, we dont have this available in the states, but it is available over seas.
