Do blood pressure medicines lead to diabetes? If so what natural medicines are available for blood pressure?

I have been taking blood pressure medicines (AmlongA, Tenoric 50 etc.) for the past 10 years and it has remained under control. My blood sugar is normal. Is it possible that I can suffer diabetes later in life. In that case what medicines are available for treating blood pressure without risk of getting diabetes?

no. the blood pressure medicine will never lead to diabetes. and regarding the natural medicine, i can guarantee that no homoeopathy medicine will work as halopathy( amlong- by the way how many grams r u prescribed?) because homoeopathy will work very slowly compared to halopathy, and when it comes to BP fast acting medicines are better. possibility of being diagnosed with diabetes will depend on hereditary i.e whether it runs in Ur family or most probably Ur age etc. my advice is to check with Ur doc immediately. its better to be save than sorry. god forbid if u are diagnosed with diabetes (may be type 1 or 2) u can take that medicine along with Ur BP medicine. they r many medicines in homoeopathy but as i said earlier, no medicine will work as halopathy. hope i answered ur concerns

I don't think there are any "natural meds" that effectively lower bp. Stress reduction, exercise, weight control, no nicotine, relaxation techniques are all ways to lower bp. But even if one faithfully implements all these, meds still may be required, tho in lower doses.
