I need to buy a portable oxygen concentrator for a person who has copd does any body no were i can buy? |
I need it to be small and very light. i also need a nebuliser machine that can be used abroad in the carribean and can be used on board a flight without been plugged in. You could try a company such as Air Products for ambulatory oxygen. If you have one near you, try a Ben Franklin Pharmacy or any Pharmacy, if they don't have it they can order it. Ask your local health authority. Talk to your doctor, or his, and they normally have the best sulotion for were to buy around were you live, if that fails buy online. oodles of contacts here http://uk.search.yahoo.com/search?fr=ybr... have you been in touch with this persons doctor, he/she would be able to help a great deal :-) Sorry I can't help with where to buy it, but I do think you should ask the airline first. Contact GP, he should manage to help, also try and get in touch with Respiratory Nurse specialists at the hospital, they should also help. You should not need to buy one. For the nebuliser try your local pharmacist. In the UK expect to pay somewhere around the 拢100 for a good portable one. You'll still need to see your doctor about medication to use with it. There are cheaper ones available on the Internet. Google "nebuliser" for sites. Try the same for the oxygen concentrator. |
