Recommendations for General Physicians in Belize?

We are looking for names/numbers of recommended physicians in Belize(GPs), preferrably in the northern sector. Any information regarding pharmaceuticals would also be appreciated. Do we need to have sent from USA and are there regulations regarding the receipt of such.

Most of the best doctors are in Belize City which is less than a 2 hour drive from the northern districs. However it you want a GP, then the district clinics in Orange Walk or Corozal will have GP's. There are a number of pharmacies in the northern districts. If you are in Belize, just look at the yellow pages of the phone book, if not then contact the Min. of Health via a google web search.

Don't understand your question about sending items from the USA???

go to www.belize.com and they have a list of all facilities , hospitals etc you will need .
