Where can you look up pharmaceuticals based on pill description?

I am curious what this pill is, but do not know what it is called. It is a long pink/orange oval with HHH on one side and C6 on the other. Do you know what this is, or do you know a site that lets you browse pictuers?

I did - everything I have found requires you to know the name of the drug - which I don't.

There's a pill finder on http://www.drugs.com.

You're welcome. That's a handy site! Report It

yahoo web or google it

The PDR, Physician's Desk Reference, lists all pills and shows their pictures for identification.

A word of caution, you are looking for a perscribed medication, not always will it match because of generic ect. If you want to know for sure call your pharmacist, they can tell you what it is. The sites are very usefull and I use them more for conformation when I am told what something is. Remember you are looking up medicine and you never know what it could be, make sure before you take it.

Sounds like Co-Diovan. They come in different strengths and are RX to treat high blood pressure. The pill color that you decribed sounds more like the pic in the link though.

Oval, non-divisible, film-coated tablets measuring approximately 15.2 mm by 6.2 mm and 4.4 mm in thickness, and weighing approximately 312 mg. The tablets are coloured dark red and imprinted with HHH on one side and CG on the other side.
