Do pharmaceuticals like muscle relaxers show up on pre-employment drug tests?

Aspirin shows up if they test for it. If you have a muscle relaxer in your system, you had better have a prescription and be prepared to answer the questions as to why you have it. Bring all your prescription medications with you[to the test] and tell them when you took the last dose. Luckily, if you don't pass, they can't tell your potential employer what they found, just that it was positve. Or, they can say it was postive but that you have a prescrip. Your employer can then ask if your meds will hinder your performance but not what it is you are taking. Good luck!

It is unlikely that they would look at something like that - generally they care only about illegal drugs that show up on the test. Many pre-employment drug tests ONLY test for illegal drugs.
