What percentage of the pharmaceuticals in the US are made in China?

Interesting question I am not so sure of the answer I know have been spending quite a bit of money this past two weeks on medicine for my teen being ill and myself too being ill.
I did a quick searcher earlier while soaking in the tub pondering how many items were not made in the good ol'USA in my bath tub it appears only one item was made in china that was some body wash I had nabbed at a dollar store but my other shampoos and conditioners and body washes are all made in the USA I was surprised by that and felt pleased too.

Now I am going to have to a look see on my medicine's I hadn't even given them a thought.

I had a class prior on college campus on learning what made a pharmaceutical medicine to be sold by it's name and for how long that was to occur So now I am full of more knowledge due to reading your Y & A and will do a search at home and ask my friends this one too.

Don't know. Isn't everything, that isn't made in Taiwan, the Philippines, or USA? I suppose there's some benefit, for somebody, that wherever they're made the royalties all go to USA or Europe. That's why we invent things in OZ - selling the ideas is our way of subsidizing those centres of the universe, with a side benefit for wherever they choose to have them actually made. We colonials just increasingly take in each other's washing, when we don't bring in migrants to do it (or dig the place up for export). Or we have branches of foreign companies making here whatever they can make more cheaply than elsewhere - or whatever. That's market economics, isn't it? Never read the labels. It's depressing.
