does anyone no if there are any assistance for people with out any health insurance? at least something to help pay for prescriptions. The best place I鈥檝e found for discount drug programs and assistance for specific medical conditions is Needy Meds (link below). Also, you should contact your state insurance department to find out whether there is a state-sponsored plan for people in your financial and medical situation (link below). Needy Meds also has a way for you to find programs offered only in your states. Well when you find out let me know..I have to pay out of pocket for everything cause health insurance is way to expensive. study nutrition, and exercising and you can reduce perscription usage by eating healthy and exercising What state do you live in? Because in my state of Wisconsin we have 2 programs, one is Badger Care, which is for families with kids who doesn't have health insurance available. You don't have to be low income but if you are you won't have to pay as much. The next one is H.I.R.S.P. and that is for people who are unable to get any health insurance because of pre-existing conditions. They even cover A.I.D.S. patients. There is a 6 months waiting period before any pre-existing condition will be covered, but it is better than not being able to be covered at all. And the income situation is the same for this as the Badger Care. Hope this helps. :) |
