When need to use pulse oximeter? |
I would like to know what kind of application which needs to have Spo2 diagnoistic first? ex. OSA, anesthesia.... From my experience, pulse oximetry is a really useful tool. I use it extensively on the ambulance. It helps me to know if oxygen therapy or nebulizers are helping the patient, and I use it after intubation to continually help reaffirm my tube placement. Any respiratory ailments i.e. colds, asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, etc, would benefit from pulse oximetry diagnostics. |
