How do I get my overweight grandma to loose weight when she is dependent on her scooter?

i love my grandma. and she is really stress because she just lost her 49 year old daughter. But for like 3 years she has been dependant on this scooter thing. she never walks, she lays in the bed all day.so how can I motivate her to do excersises.and what kind of excersises can she do.

Well you could try to reduce calorie intake and make her diet more protein rich. There are hundreds of "weight loss" tips on the net, but the things is they often aren't working.
In my opinion you should focus on reduction of calories, more fruit, less high sugar, high carb food.

Well, I heard that in Physical therapy homes the "Nintendo Wii" has great games & is great exercises but is very expensive. They have sports games and all types of games that can help in exercise.
