Why do reward really fat people with scooters. I've managed to stay really thin. I think i deserve a scooter

Is that so wrong? They should make the fat people walk and let the skinny people ride scooters. This country is so desperate to lose wieght but everyone is too lazy to do it. What's up with that??

Not all large people who use scooters are that way on purpose. Many people who use scooters have a disease or condition that makes it impossible for them to do any major exercise or they may be taking medication that cause weight gain no matter what they do. Most of those people would give anything to get rid of the scooter and to be able to walk like you do with pain or to even be able to bend over to tie their shoes. My best friend doesn't use a scooter but she would love to be able to bend over just far enough so should can tie her own shoes or pick up a letter that falls on the floor. Unfortunely her back is so damaged that this is impossible. She would trade your body for hers any day of the week so don't be so quick to judge others.

you have no idea why that person is fat and there is nothing keeping you from buying your own scooter.

ya wtf mate!

why not randomly arrest people who are fat and put them in camps. Maybe a public execution now and then. Then well go after the smokers, bad breath. Seriously this country is full of lazy crybabies

Do you want to make your job the one who gaurds the scooters from fat people?

I don't see the scooters as a reward. I'd be completely humiliated to have to ride around in one of those things.

yeah... thats a good point.

So go bye one and lay off of the fat people!

Tell your parents that you really---really need a scooter and maybe you can get one for you birthday but remember fat folks enjoy riding scooters too.

thats a great idea plus i would love a scooter and if someone doesnt like what you have said then they are really fat and ride a scooter

Congratulations! Go buy yourself a brandnew scooter.

And get yourself a brain too while you are at it :-)

Some people actually get fat because of a disability and that is why they are riding those scooters called "Rascals"; as for the ones riding them just to be fat and lazy...I call them Rascal Riders!

What the poop are you talking about?

Fat people aren't using the scooters because they don't want to walk, they're using them because they CAN'T walk. That weight has damaged their knees and ankle joints, diabetes has decreased their circulation and caused foot problems. I would not look on this as a reward, but as a necessity to be pitied, not envied. Why would YOU want a scooter? Are YOU too lazy to walk? Are you looking to get less exercise?

I think you deserve a scooter too!!! However, I am fat and it is much easier to say I'm going to lose weight than it is to do it. I agree though you should have a scooter if you really want one.

everyone wants to get to heaven but nobody want to die!
first of all the country is way overweight for two reasons
lack of exercise and too much of the wrong foods
sooner or later the health care programs are going to demand the people who are overweight or smoke to either loose or quit the smoking or they will not pay for their treatment.
THE SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST.
In nature if you are not fit...then you do not last long. I am not mean but just realistic. This country is one of the few countries in the world where the poor people are fat. Go figure

The scooters are there for people with health problems. Sometimes they do gain weight because of those health problems, it is a vicious catch-22. If you have no disabling health problems why would you want to ride a scooter instead of walking (which is more healthy by your own words)? Not everyone is too lazy to lose weight, and some "fat" people are actually more healthy than "thin" ones - anorexia, bulimia and poor food choices while trying to diet to get even thinner are 3 examples. I am now overweight - but don't use a scooter. I walk quite a bit, eat healthy choices, but am now older so my metabolism has caught up with me - as well as being on medications known to add weight, having recent major surgery that kept me from any sort of exercise for over 8 weeks, and having a job in which I am at a desk much of the time. That does not make me lazy, and I am working on that weight factor too. I take 48 stairs each way and a very long hall to go to the bathroom at work instead of using the one close to our offices, park as far away from my vehicle so I can walk extra steps, and if I am at my desk for an hour I get up and do a bit of exercise in my cubicle to stir up the blood flow and use a bit more calories. I also eat mostly fruits, vegetables, high fiber foods and fish, while watching fats, cholesterol, calories and carbs. I was not always overweight, and I plan on being at normal weight (NOT thin or fat) in the future despite an uphill battle. Be thankful you have no health problems - it is not fun.

Go Ahead! Ride the scooter. No-one is stopping you!
I guess alot of this depends upon your perception of fat people, alcoholics, depressed persons, etc. If you think they have made a choice to be this way, then I can see why you are upset.
If you view these 'afflictions' as a type of disease, then you would not have written this.
I think you would rather be thin than ride the scooter.

They may be fat but they probably have a disability also. Be thankful you don't need a scooter not critical of those who do.

I'm fat. I don't have a scooter. Of course I'd rather not be fat. But what I'd like even less is to be stupid, like you. I can lose weight, but honey, to borrow comedian Ron White's phrase--you can't fix stupid. Sucks to be you. Why don't you start a website to earn some money for the shiney new scooter?
