Ok i need honest unbiased answwers.... should i buy a LITTMAN stethoscope or a MAGNA FORTIS stethoscope? help!

im getting a new stethoscope with engraving...both are in my price range..which is arond 150 bucks...

which brand should i go with? and why? iv'e been doing research and more research and it seems like every website is just promoting the brand that they are getting more profit from at that time. i need to hear from a real person!

Ten years ago I bought a Littman. I have tried others but the sound comes through much better. But, be sure to change the earpieces for soft ones. Never use alcohol to clean any part of it . Treat it well and it will still look good in ten years. They still seem to be the same price they were years ago. I guess quality isn't cheap.

I know only Littman. But my experience has been that once you enter the 鈥済ood stethoscope鈥?range, the stethoscope itself makes very little difference to what murmurs you can hear 鈥?it's all then just practice & experience. As a cardiologist, I use both a Master Cardiology, & a Master Classic II for half the price 鈥?the cheaper one is just as good for my ears, if anything a little better for most murmurs.
