What is a good stethoscope to buy? Need suggestions pls.?

I am starting Rn school soon. I was informed I need to buy a stethoscope. I want the best buy for the money. I dont want to spend over $100 but it does need to have a bell and diaphragm.

Okay I bought several things from www.allheart.com. It seemed that things there were cheaper than buying from local stores. Littmann - lightweight II SE was what was recommended for the nursing program I was in. Many of my peers really liked their's compared to others that they tried.

Try "Litman Quality"

Honestly, you should be able to get a pretty decent stethoscope for under $50 dollars. Unless you are a cardiologist, the less expensive ones work just as well as the really expensive ones. Go to a store that sells them and see which one you like.

You don't have too spend $100 dollars. Go to these websites they have stethoscopes for under $50. They come in colors,size,shapes and more.

personally I like the flat ones because they are easier for me to handle. These two websites are good.Walgreens has them for about $15.
